Julien founded APNE to bridge the gap between Oceania and high quality manufacturers globally. Throughout his career Julien has had a relentless focus on developing long term relationships of trust with clients and partners. Prior to founding APNE, Julien was Head of European Healthcare M&A at Deutsche Bank advising both large and small players of the healthcare industry in transformational transactions. Julien holds a degree from ESCP and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.


Well seasoned professional with over 12 years experience in the global pharmaceutical industry with specialised expertise in Portfolio Management and Business Development. Miguel has been involved in several strategic advisory projects to pharmaceutical companies in EMEA and led many international supply contracts between specialty pharmaceutical companies across Europe. In addition, Miguel holds a masters degree in pharmaceutical science from UGR in Spain, which led him to pursue several technical positions early in his career.

adjunct professor richard west, medical affairs

Professor West has had a distinguished career as a teacher and a surgeon at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and the University of Sydney. He was the Censor in Chief of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He was a Board Member of the College Council and in charge of all post graduate training of surgeons in Australia and New Zealand. Professor West received an Order of Australia in recognition of his services to surgery, infection control and surgical education.


Catherine has over 20 years business and legal affairs experience including for a large UK publicly listed company. Catherine was appointed to the board of Nine Entertainment Co in May 2016, an ASX 200 listed company. Catherine has looked after business affairs for content, commercial and corporate matters and was most recently responsible for all of Sky plc’s content relationships worth over $4 billion per annum and distribution and commercial activities generating in excess of $1.3 billion in revenue per annum. Catherine holds a Bachelor of Economics (Hons)/Bachelor of Law degree from Sydney University. She is admitted to practice as a solicitor in England and Wales and New South Wales. Catherine is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is a committee member of the Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation at Chris O'Brien Lifehouse.
